Tahrea Sherman is passionate about transforming healthcare strategy and delivery, as well as advancing diversity amongst healthcare professionals. She brings experience in health promotion, marketing, and research. As an Associate of Member Services, Tahrea supports the delivery of Gist membership services and aids in determining how Gist works with its members.
Prior to joining Gist, Tahrea worked for Hilton Grand Vacations as a Marketing Coordinator. In this role, she acted as a liaison between the marketing and reservation departments. Tahrea has also assisted Project Fit, a weight loss program whose role is to reduce obesity within the African American community, and served as a Summer Associate for AmeriCorps, where she observed and assessed programs benefiting inner-city youth.
Tahrea graduated with her Bachelor of Arts in Public Health from the University of South Carolina-Columbia. She also minored in Medical Humanities and obtained a leadership distinction in research.
