Patrick Grant applies his research and data visualization skills to shed light on healthcare markets and the policies that shape them. As an Analyst for the Member Insight team, Patrick distills the broader trends of the healthcare industry into reports, graphics, and presentations.
Patrick joins Gist after completing his Master of Public Policy degree at the University of Virginia’s Batten School, which he obtained jointly with his undergraduate degree in health economics. During his graduate studies, he combined a foundation in economics with health policy coursework to better understand the public-private interplay in US healthcare. His research ranged from quantitative analysis of ACA marketplace plans to CDC’s strategy on antimicrobial resistance.
