Jennifer is dedicated to expanding the impact of mission-driven healthcare organizations. She combines market-leading healthcare knowledge with deep expertise in transforming organizational structures, aligning and improving incentives, and building leadership effectiveness.
Prior to joining Gist, Jennifer was Executive Director of Research at The Advisory Board Company where she oversaw international and domestic research teams. She authored over 40 publications, and was a frequent speaker and advisor to leading health systems around strategic planning, care quality, top-of-license practice and care models, care variation reduction, employee engagement, organizational culture, and leadership development.
She has been heard on NPR, co-led a workforce development taskforce sponsored by the Obama Whitehouse, published in the Journal of Nursing Administration, and has delivered over 100 keynote addresses at health systems and led more than 30 strategic planning retreats.
Jennifer is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Stanford University, with Honors in International Security Studies. She lives in Boulder, Colorado and in her free time she enjoys exploring Colorado’s high country every way she can—on a bike, skis, or her own two feet.
